HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - March 22, 1989 (75)CITY COUNCIL MEETIMG MARCH 22', 1989 RESOLUTION NO. 89-29, ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING BY REFERENCE, CERTAIN RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE ELECTRIC U11LITY DEPARTMENT" ADOPTED The City Council was reminded that it had recently ado ted Ordinance No. 1447 repealing Lodi Municipal Code LMC) , CC -6. Sections 13.20.010 and 13.20.020 and reenacting Lodi CC 5 1( &Y,. '- Municipal Code Section 13.20.010 allowing adoption by Resolution of Rules and Regulations. This action Will adopt the Rules and Regulations effective on the date Ordinance No. 1447 becomes ,effective. The rria Iter was introduced by Ci�tyy Manager Peterson and by Electrical Utility Director WW Rice. Discussion followed with questions regarding the matter being directed to Staff. Mayor Pinkerton indicated that he felt the new Rules and Regulations were unfair in doing away with the reimbursement program earlier followed by the City. Discussion followed with questions regarding the matter being directed to staff. On motion of Cr incil Nkmber Hinchman, Olson second, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 89-29, entitled, "A Resolution of the Lodi City Council Adopting by Reference, Certain Rules and Regulations fcr the Electric Utility Department". The motion carried by the following vote: Ayes : Council Members - Hinchman, Olson, 'Reid, and Snider Noes : Council Members - Pinkerton Absent : Council Members - None
