CC -6 At approximately 1:15 a.m., December 17, 1992, the City
cc -34 Council adjourned to Closed Session regarding the City
CC -200(b) Clerk's appointment. The City Council reconvened at
approximately 1:20 a.m. On motion of Council. .Member
Snider, Sieglock second, the City Council announced its
intention -to enter into an agreement with'Jenaifer Perrin
appointing her City Clerk of the City of Lodi effective
January 18, 1993.
Mayor Pennino thon made the following statement regarding
the appointment:
"On behalf of the City Council, it is my
pleasure to announce the appointment of
Jennifer Perrin to the position of City
Clerk. The appointment is effective January
18, 1993. At the conclusion of"an extensive
recruitment effort, it was the unanimous
position of the City Council that Ms. Perrin
is best suited for the position.
We look forward to working with Ms. Perrin
in this most important position and we are
confident she will very capably fulfill the
duties and responsibilities of this
position. She has developed her skills
under the leadership and direction of our
present City Clerk, Alice Reimche, and she
could have not learned from a better teacher.
We extend to Alice our deepest appreciation
for all she has done for City Councils and
the City during her term. ft bid you a fond
farewell, Alice an3 wish you and your family
health, happiness and success always.

This is to certify that I, Jennifer Perrin, accept the position of City Clerk with the City of Lodi
(hereafter referred to as "City") at a base salary of $32,582.22 annually effective January 18,
1993. This base salary may be modified based on merit in six months to $37,291.11, and at the
completion of one year to $42,000.00, and reviewed annually thereafter.
The following terms and benefits are understood:
1. Your current level of benefits will remain the same except for the following changes:
a. The City will pay the entire dental insurance premium for any dependent
coverage.
b. Your life insurance coverage will be increased to the rate of 1-112 times your
annual salary rounded to the next highest $1,000, pits $12,000. In addition, you
and your spouse will be insured under the City's travel accident policy.
C. The City will provide you with ten (10) days of administrative leave each fiscal
year (to be prorated) as you wiil no longer be eligible for overtime pay.
d. You may continue to participate in the deferred compensation program, but will
no longer be eligible to receive a 2.5% city -matched contribution.
e. You will receive a car allowance of $350.00 per month (to be prorated for
January).
f. You are eligible to receive reimbursement for costs not covered by your medical
insurance for annual physical examinations.
g. Yo,, will receive any other benefit included in the Management Statement Cf
Benefits not specified herein.
h. The office of City Clerk is an at -will position serving at the pleasure of the City
Council.
