AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Mills Avenue Overlay Lodi Avenue to
Elm Street Contract
MEETING DATE: August 21, 1991

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the
"Mills Avenue Overlay Lodi Avenue to Elm Street's
contract, and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice
of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Claude C. Wood Company of Lodi
on May 1, 1991 in the amount of $79,632.00. The contract
has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans
and specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract con letion date was June 19, 1991, and the actual completion date was
May 23,`,1991. 1 e final contract price was $81,073.36. The difference between the
contract amount nd the final contract price is mainly due to Claude C. Woods' work
on a storm drair manhole which was in need of repair.

Budgeted Fund: Transportation Development Act/Transportation
Partnership (SB300)
Current Appropriation: $86,000.00
Total Project Estimate: $84,000.00
