The Task Force will conduct community town hal meetings throughout the county to &Nowfull citizen participation in the process. As a remit of the needs assessment and citizen testimony. the Task Force will make recommendations concerning existing prograrns and services as wel as suggesting new strategies to lessen substance abuse and rotated crime. The subconvnittee+s, which will Include all San Joaquin County communities. will deal with the following specific areas: prevention/education, law enforcement/intervention, and treatment/recovery. The San Joaquin County Office cf Substance Abuse will be responsible for administration and support services tDthe Task FoLim.
