COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Program Supplement to State -Local Master Agreement No. SLTFP-5154 for Hutchins Street Improvements, Pine Street to Lockeford Street 1V1(EENG DATE: July 17, 1991 PREPARED BY: Publ is Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a resolution approving Program Supplement No. 3 to the State -Local Master Agreement No. SLTPP-5154 covering the street improvements to Hutchins Street, Pine Street to Lockeford Street. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This is another project using State -Local Partnership Program funds as provided by Sections 2600 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code. The amount the City receives is based on the estimate first submitted with the application to receive these funds. On this project, the City will receive approximately 18%of the total construction and construction engineering costs. That amounts to $23,710. The matching funds for this project are budgeted under the Transportation Development Act (TDA) funds in the Street Capital Improvement Program. It is mutually understood between the parties that this contract may have been written before ascertaining the availability of legislative appropriation of funds, for the mutual. benefit of both parties, in order to avoid program and fiscal delays that would occur if the agreement ware executed after that determination was made. The total amount of State -Local Transportation Partnership funds payable by the State shall not exceed $23710 to be encumbered and reimbursed as follows: FY 90-91 $ 0 FY 91-92 23310 FY 92-93 0 This agreement is valid and enforceable only if sufficient funds are made available by the California State Legislature. Any subsequent State Partnership funding changes will be made through a revised finance letter.
