Rodems, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt resolution approving updated fees for access and use at Lodi Lake. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The current fee structure for vehicle admissions to Lodi Lake has been in effect since 2003. The current structure has different rates for weekdays and weekends, and this proposal will simplify the rates from seven categories to four by treating all days of the week in the same manner. This reduction in categories will also allow the City to save on printing expenses by purchasing larger quantities of entrance tickets. This rate schedule will continue to be less than the entrance fees charged at Micke Grove and Oak Grove ($5 - San Joaquin County) and Rancho Seco Recreation Area ($10 - SMUD). Additional entries to Lodi Lake are available through a punch card good for 20 vehicle admissions. The punch card was designed for a single user who makes multiple visits to the Lake. There is also a book of passes available for purchase that was created for groups attending a single event. This proposal would also add disabled persons to the category defined as senior. A disabled parking placard or license plate will be required to meet this requirement. A table of current and proposed entrance fees is attached. FISCAL IMPACT: Estimated increasein revenue of $10,484. FUNDING: None Prepared by Michael S. Reese, Recreation Superintendent JMR\MSR:tl Attachments cc: CityAttomey g-. - ZA==t,-= - James M.
