RESOLUTION NO. 89-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING THE BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TURF FERTILIZER
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and
the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on
January 24, 1989 at 11:00 a.m. for the bid for the purchase of turf fertilizer,
described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on January 4,
1989; and
WHEREAS, said bids have beEn compared, checked, and tabulated and a
report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:
Bidder Amount
Acampo Ag Service, Acampo S 7,833.93
Turf -Tech, Sacramento S 8,802.94
San Joaquin Sulphur Co., Lodi $10,024.95
Plant -Gro Corp., San Jose $10,851.75
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the bid for turf
fertilizer be made to the low bidder, Acampo Ag Service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that
award of bid for turf fertilizer be and the same is hereby awarded to Acampo Ag
Service, the low bidder, in the amount of $7,833.93.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 89-18 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held February 15, 1989 by the following vote:
Ayes: Council Members - Hinchman, Olson, Reid and
Pinkerton (Mayor)
Noes: Council Member, None
Absent: Council Members - Snider
