BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The following actions were taken at the last regular
Planning Commission meeting of November 11, 1991:
a. At the applicant's request continued the following items of Robert H.
Lee and Associates on behalf of Chevron U.S.A., Inc.:
1. to amend the Zoning Ordinance to allow 24-hour gas station, food
mart and self -serve car wash in C-1, Neighborh;od Commercial
zones; and
2. to certify the filing of a Negative Declaration by the Community
Development Director as adequate environmental documentation on
the above project.
b. At the request of the applicant continued until 7:30 p.m., Dece►. er
9, 1991 the request of Tim Mattheis, Wenell, Mattheis, Bowe
Architects to reduce the setback requirements to permit a 6 -foot high
fence in the south 20 -foot setback at 505 Pioneer Drive in an area
zoned C-2, General Commercial.
C. Determined that the historic conditions wa-ranted the action and
approved the request of Denis L. Mailloux to establish a real estate
office in a structure formerly used as a grocery store at 433 North
Church Street in an area zoned R-1*, Single -Family Residential -
Eastside.
