RE: HOME Funds CHAS
Dear Mr, Veerkamp:
9EFNR!i''r
San Joaquin County has received confirmation of HUD's acceptance of
our Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) and the
County's 1992-93 HOME Entitlement will be 51,181,000.
To utilize these funds the County must submit a program description
to HUD within forty-five (45) days to secure funding.
Therefore, we are requesting that each City submit to us
confirmation of intent to participate in the HOKE program upon
receipt of this letter. We are also requesting that Cities who
intend to participate provide the County with a program
description, providing a concise description of activities to be
addressed by May 15, 1992. Attached is an allocation table
providing your City's allocation.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. If you should ba`ra
questions you may call me directly at 468-3021.
