ROSA LEE
Assistant County Administrator
After several years of effort, we are proud to see the Board of Supervisors' vision of a
consolidated building for County services implemented. The County's Administration Building
is anticipated to be completed in early July 2009, and staff is expected to be fully relocated there
by September 2009. The new building will make it easier for our citizens to access the County
agencies they deal with the most. Included in the design is a lobby that will have artwork
commissionedby the County as well as display cases for placement of artifacts.
The County wants to showcase its seven Cities by providing space for each of the Cities to
display its seal, a picture of city hall, a photo of the council or whatever items you think are
representative of the City. You are therefore invited,to submit an item representing your City,
which will be placed on a designated 2'x 2' display shelf in the lobby. The display shelves are
glass; therefore, the weight of your display should not exceed five pounds. It is anticipated that
the displays will be installed in mid-August, therefore please contact Gabriel Karam, Director of
Capital Projects, at (209) 468-2181, or me at (209) 468-3203 to arrange for the delivery and
installation of the displays.
Very truly yours,
Manuel Lopez
