HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - March 4, 1992 (48)op CITY OF LODI AGENDA TITLE: Renew Agreement with Family Services Agency for Employee Assistant Program Services MEETING DATE: March 4, 1992 PREPARED BY: Assistant City Manager RECOMHEND%-LO ACTION: The City Council approve an one-year extension of that agreement made and entered into on March 1, 1990 by and between the City of Lodi and Family Services Agency, Inc. to provide Employee Assistance Program services. The only modification of that agreement is a four percent (4,0X) increase in the costs. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City for a number of years has provided an employee assistance program designed to assist employees and their families with assistance in dealing with potentially disabling emotional and family problems. This program has been extremely beneficial to the City and its employees. We have dealt with Family Service Agency, Inc. over the years. Their staff has the confidence and trust of employees and their families and for this reason we do not want to make changes at this time. Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to enter into a one -Year extension with the Family Services Agency, Inc. to provide Employee Assistance Program services at an annual cost of 512,743.54, FUNDING: Operating Budget Respectfully submitted, 6Jrlry L.
