No action is required. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This information is being given ID the City Council in acoordannce with the Contract Change Order Policy approved by Resolution 85- 72. One of the requirements of this policy is that we inform the City Council of all change orders where the total of all change orders exceed $25,000. This attached Contract Change Order #1, approved by the City Manager, was in the amount of $49,680.25, w h i i is 15% of the original contract. This Contract ChangeOrdw #1 also extended contract completion date by three working days. The original contract price was $338,250.35. Contract Change 0rder#1 included the delivery and placement of 500 cubic yards cf sand lr the beacharea ($30,000) and the installation of a stucco exterior on the Discovery Center ($11,363.00). The remaining items on Contract Change Order #1 addressed miscellaneous changes to the contract and included a new concrete pad for the Parks shed, a new drinking fountain and additional conduit work. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct impact to the Parks and RecnwAon DOPOrhWit ixdQ0 for the installation of the Lodi Lake Boat House 1 Discovery CenterSite Improvements. The 2000 Park Bond Act Per Capita Grantprogram and the 2002 Resources Bond Act will be supporting the installation of this project in its entirety.
