AGENDA TITLE: Adopt Resolution Accepting Improvements at 610 South Guild Avenue

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution accepting improvements at 610 South Guild Avenue.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Improvements at 610 South Guild Avenue have been completed in
substantial conformancewith the requirements of the improvement
agreement between the City of Lodi and Arthur L. Anderson and AM
Stephens Construction Company, as approved by the City Council
on October 17,2007, and as shown on Drawings No. 005DO12-01
through 005D012-09.
Project improvements included the installation of new curb, gutter and sidewalk along Guild Avenue and
new storm drain, wastewater and water mains to serve the eight new parcels that were created with this
development.
FISCAL IMPACT: Per Item 17, "Repair or Reconstruction of Defective Work", of the
improvement agreement, the developer's warranty period of one year will
begin on the date of Council acceptance. There will be a slight increase in
long-term maintenance costs for the new public improvements.
FUNDING AVAILABLE: Not applicable.

A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCILACCEPTING
IMPROVEMENTSAT 610 SOUTH GUILDAVENUE INCLUDED IN
THE IMPROVEMENTAGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LODI
AND ARTHUR L. ANDERSON AND A. M. STEPHENS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
The City Council of the City of Lodi finds:
1. That all requirements of the Improvement Agreement between the City of
Lodi and Arthur L. Anderson and A M. Stephens Construction Company have been
substantially complied with. The improvements are shown on Drawing
Nos. 005D012-01 through 005D012-09 on file in the Public Works Department and as
specifically set forth in the plans and specifications approved by the City Council on
October 17, 2007.
Project improvements included the installation of new curb, gutter, and sidewalk along
Guild Avenue and new storm drain, wastewater, and water mains to serve the eight new
parcels that were created with this development.
