BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Members of the 2008 Leadership Lodi class will present information
on this yea's class project, "Hope Harbor: Help Brighten Their
Way." The project seeks to secure funds and donations to refurbish
Hope Harbor at the Salvation Army, the only emergency shelter for
homeless women and their children serving the Lodi community.

Hope Harbor at the Salvation Army is the only emergency shelter for
women and children in Lodi. For three years, they have provided a
much needed service to their clients and are committed to assisting
women and children with housing and improving life skills toward
the goal of becoming independent. After three years their bedding,
children's playroom, and family room area are in need of replacement
