• In late 2008 an ad-hoc committee was formed
with members of the LAC, Ai PP and other
interested parties
• The name for the organization was chosen and
Project Lodi Art proceeded with the first of many
phases of Community Art in Lodi
• Goal: To utilize AiPP funds to mobilize the
community with the support of businesses to
create permanent "FUNCTIONAL ART" in Lodi

• East Lodi Avenue Sidewalk Improvement Project
• Spaces for 24 Sidewalk Mosaics were Identified
Within the East Lodi Avenue Sidewalk
Improvement Project
• September 2008 - A Call to Local Artists was
Issued for Sidewalk Mosaic Designs

• Many Citizens of Lodi came out the 1St Friday in
March to View the Mosaic Design Entries and to
Cast their Vote for the People's Choice Award.
