BACKGROUND INFORMATION: On February 21, 2007, the City Clerk's Office was directed to post for vacancies on the Lodi Improvement Committee, Following the recruitment period and selection process, one vacancy remained on the Committee. On May 2, 2007, the City Council directed the City Clerk to report for the one vacancy. The Mayor has reviewed the applications, and it is recommended that the City Council concur with the following appointment. Since that time, the City Clerk's Office also received a letter of resignation from Lodi Improvement Committee Member, Wade Heath, and it is therefore, recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the one vacancy shown below.
