BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This public hearing is an annual requirement of the Transportation Development Act regulations. The San Joaquin Regional Transit District is also sponsoring several upcoming Unmet Transit Needs hearings to discuss unmet transit needs in San Joaquin County, including Lodi. Any comments received from those meetings will be communicated to City staff. It should be noted that many of the comments are given directly via email to San Joaquin Council of Governments staff throughout the year_ FISCAL IMPACT: This hearing is required in accordance with the Transportation Development Acts the transit system utilizes for operations and capital.
