AGENDA TITLE: Post for One Vacancy on the Lodi Animal Shelter Task Force

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Council, by motion action, direct the City Clerk to post for one
vacancy on the Lodi Animal Shelter Task Force.
BACKGWUND INFORMATION: The City Clerk's Office received a letter of resignation (filed) from
Animal Shelter Task Force member, Barbara Steinheimer. It is,
therefore, recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk
to post for the vacancy below.

Barbara Steinheirner Unspetified term limit
Government Code Section 54970 et seq. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens
interested in serving to submit an application. The City Council is requested to direct the City Clerk to
make the necessary postings.

the Animal Shelter Task Force.

confident that efforts will continue to be made toward enriching and improving our

cations for the Lodi Animal Shelter Task Force,
charged with providing short- and long-term rec-
ommendations regarding the Lodi Animal Shelter.

Joaquin County at the time of application. This is
a volunteer, unpaid position.
