BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Clerk's Office was notified of the resignation of Arts Commissioner, Rick Buchler, and Animal Shelter Task Force Member, Hazel Jackson. Additionally, the bylaws of the Lodi Improvement Committee state that any member who misses three unexcused meetings within a one-year period, without the consent of one of the board members, shall be deemed to have vacated the office. Two members have missed in excess of that, and at the request of the Lodi Improvement Committee Chairperson, it is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the vacancies below.
