BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project provides for the contract landscape maintenance of the Lodi Consolidated Landscape Maintenance Assessment District 2003-1. This contract will cover the existing Zones 1, 2, 5, and 6 at an estimated cost of $165,000 for eighteen months. The addition of Zones S and 11, currently under construction, will be added during the last six months of this contract, increasing the contract by an estimated $3,500. The maintenance work covered under this contract is limited to the landscape and irrigation improvements along the reverse frontage areas of the subdivisions in these zones. The variation in cost has to do with the relative size of the zones (see attached map). The maintenance effort for each zone is based on weekly maintenance that will continue during the full period of the contract, as compared to monthly maintenance on non -District (i.e., City General Fund) landscaped areas. FISCAL IMPACT: The money for this maintenance contract is provided by the various assessment revenue accounts of Lodi Consolidated Landscape Maintenance Assessment District 2003-1 and does not come out of the General Fund. FUNDING AVAILABLE: Funding comes from various Lodi Consolidated Landscape Maintenance Assessment District 2003-1 assessment revenue accounts. mes R.
