Thank you very much for completing an application of interest in serving as a member of
the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission. It is people like you, willing to donate their
time and talent, which make Lodi a very special place.
During the recent recruitment process, many qualified candidate applications were
reviewed, making the Mayor's selection a difficult one. Ultimately, Mayor Beckman
recommended that other applicants be appointed, and at the regular City Council
meeting of September 7, 2005 Council concurred with the Mayor's recommendation.
Your application will remain on file for review and consideration of future vacancies for a
period of one year from the date it was received by the City Clerk's Office.
Your time and interest in serving your community is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Susan J. Blackston
