AGENDA TITLE: National Night Out Neighborhood Award Presentations

RECOAIMAENDED ACTION: Chief Jerry Adams and Crime Prevention Officer Andrea Patterson
will make presentations to the top three blocks that participated in
this year's National Night Out theme — Celebrate McGruff's 25
Years of "Taking a Bite Out of Crime."
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City of Lodi was fortunate to have 127 block parties participate
in this year's National Night Out event the evening of August 2"d
Awards will be presented to the top three blocks that participated in this year's theme. New this year, is a
"National Night Out Neighborhood Watch Group of the Year" perpetual plaque. The plaque will be placed
in the police lobby for viewing.

Each participating residence will receive a gift certificate donated by a local business

Individual gift to the Block Captain
Each participating residence will receive a gift certificate donated by a local business
A Certificate of Achievement for Crime Prevention will be awarded to Brooke Leoni (11 years old)
for being the youngest Block Captain.
